In Safari, on FB - I click the obvious places to add a photo and get a Finder-like window where on the left, under 'Media' I can select 'Photos' - and everything appears to the right of the sidebar, and photos are selectable... Equally to albums, etc - on Safari/Facebook - that behaves for me like it always has to make an anthology, rearrange, pick cardinal picture show, etc...

Is this a question or just an example?

I am trying to learn how to utilise the Mac Bone X Photos app to upload photos to my Facebook page, that is, inside the Photos app [five.ane.5], not when logged into my FB business relationship. I call up, probably from iPhotos daze, that I could practise that, but no more.

Non to cloud the primary result, but I take an entire Photos album of 23 photos that I'd like to post.

Get to your album, and at the pinnacle of the page is an icon that looks like a square with an arrow pointing up. Click on that icon for a list of options to use in sharing your photos. Facebook is ane of the options.

GinaVF, I take this trouble also.

Firstly, Apple Photos is similar iTunes - they're both databases. Each photo is a blob within the database, and then it is invisible to the file organisation. Facebook etc tin but see the files in the file organization. It cannot see inside the database of photos, so it tin't notice anything.

Apple Photos will only assistance y'all send a photo to your own Facebook page, using the icon that looks like a box with an arrow pointing up.

However, equally you found, it cannot transport a photo to a Facebook page that is not your own.

The work-effectually is to EXPORT the photo you demand from Apple Photos to a file folder similar "Desktop". This creates a split file for the moving picture, and Facebook can meet that file. Using Facebook, y'all can then import that file.

Yep that's exactly what I did too, for Chrome. On Safari everything works only fine. I use an iMac btw. Doubt it matters.
